Special Montreal Screening of Rocky Mountain Express
We invite you to a special fundraising event for Exporail, the Montreal premiere of the full version of the film Rocky Mountain Express by Montreal filmmaker Stephen Low, on March 31, 2012 at the Scotiabank – IMAX Theatre.
This is the only opportunity to see Stephen Low’s production in the Montreal area, as no other presentations of the film are planned. Lasting 45 minutes, the movie propels audiences on a steam train journey through breathtaking vistas of the Canadian Rockies and relates the epic adventure of building the nation’s first transcontinental railway.
The full version of the movie will be shown in English at 10:30 a.m., while the French version will be shown at 11:30 a.m. The Scotiabank – IMAX Theatre is located at 977 Ste. Catherine Street West, Montreal, near metro Peel.
Tickets are on sale at the Museum’s gift shop, at info@exporail.org or by phone at 450-638-1522, extension 244. Tickets are $30 each and entitle a complimentary pass for one person to visit Exporail. Seating is limited.

May 3, 2012My husband and I are train enthusiasts. We volunteer with the Prairie Dog Central Railway, Vintage Locomotive Society, in Winnipeg, Manitoba. We have traveled on Via Rail occasionally, and are booked on the Rocky Mountaineer for this May. We would love to know when the “Rocky Mountain Express” film will be coming to the Imax Theater in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Hoping to hear from you,
Regards,
Rhona

May 4, 2012We are certainly working on getting the film in IMAX theatres and other giant screen theaters everywhere. And that means hopefully yes, in Winnipeg but I don’t have a timeframe at this point. Bookings are made by the individual theaters.
